Knowledgable and Experienced Staff

Under the direction of highly qualified medical, behavioral, educational, and therapy professionals, staff members are given the training and skills to provide the highest quality of instruction and care. Medication management is provided by our child psychiatrist through weekly on-site visits, working in conjunction with behavior analysts to provide input on the child's behavioral programming, and meeting with family members to address any questions and/or concerns.

Residential direct-care staff and educational teaching assistants, known as support specialists, are required to attend and attain mastery of key training courses in order to ensure continued employment at Children's Care. Once in the dorms and classrooms, continued training covering knowledge, skills and individual children's programming is provided by an comprehensive support team consisting of behavior analysts and specialists; psychologists; educators; speech, occupational, and physical therapists; nutritionists; and nursing.
