Gifts of equipment and supplies mean so much to our special girls and boys. Friends like you who bring items to donate for the children we serve are so important to the good work we do here at Children's Care, serving children with special healthcare and education needs and their families.
Children's Care is able to accept good-condition clothing, equipment such as wheelchairs, child-size walkers, showerchairs; games, books, and toys.
Here is what your gift can buy for our kids:
$300 - Nintendo Wii for use in therapy time
$275 - Adaptive Aquatics Scholarships
$200 - Personal CD Players
$160 - Language Builder Photo Card Set
$150 - Giant Yuk-E-Balls Set
$120 - Peek-a-Boo Switch (to activate toys)
$120 - Bean Bag Learning Center
$95 - Rainforest Waterfall Switch Toy
$85 - Jelly-bean & Big Mac Switches for toys
$45 - Phonemic Awareness Songs & Rhymes Cd
$20 - Various Board Games, Bean Bag Toss Game
$10 - Children's Books, Sensory Items (like bubbles, PlayDoh, scented markers), DVDs & CDs, Puzzles
Any designated dollar amount may be used for:
- Pull-Ups
- Socks
- Underwear
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Wipes
- Batteries
Gift Givers may choose to purchase a listed item or mention your choice along with your financial gift. If you'd like a listing of more expensive items, please contact the Development office at 605-782-2331.
