Overview

The Mission of Children's Care Foundation is to develop and manage resources to support the mission, goals, and operation of Children's Care Hospital & School.

Children's Care Hospital & School has been serving children with special health and education needs for over 50 years.

Little GirlToday, we help 2,616 children across the state of South Dakota and the surrounding region. Nine out of ten children we help are served through our outreach centers in Sioux Falls and Rapid City. For children better served in a residential setting, our facility in Sioux Falls provides a warm, homelike atmosphere for our children to grow.

Unless you choose to support a specific project, your gift becomes part of the Children's Care Foundation, a non-profit endowment fund which supports Children's Care Hospital & School. This fund is invested and only the interest is used, so your contribution benefits children for years and years to come.

Children's Care is involved in many fundraising and educational events. There are several Elks Lodges across the state that organize events for Children's Care. Our own Auxiliary holds the annual MallWalk event and the funds they raise are donated back to help purchase equipment and toys for the children. Children's Care is the beneficiary of the Sunday performance of a South Dakota Acoustic Christmas and in the spring hosts the annual Doctors in Recital performance showcasing the talents of local physicians in the Great Hall of the Washington Pavilion.
