Doug Hackett, Physical Therapist at Children's Care, Rapid City, has earned ATP (Assistive Technology Practitioner) credentials from RESNA, the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America. APT's are specialists in seating and positioning, powered mobility, augmentative communication, computer access, environmental controls, architectural design, ergonomics, and sensory aids. Doug treats children and adults at Children's Care on Jordan Drive, where he is part of the Seating and Positioning Team for users of wheelchairs, standers, strollers and other durable medical equipment. He also visits children for therapy in homes, schools, and daycare centers in western South Dakota. He joined the staff of Children's Care in February 1999.
