Tickets are $18 and are available at the Children's Care Foundation at (605) 782-8500 or area doctors will perform rock, jazz, classical, acappela chorale, and bluegrass as a fundraiser for Children's Care Hospital & School.  

Performers are Dr. Rick Holm of Brookings with the Hopeful Spirit Chorale, retired dermatologist Dr. Dennis Knutson with the Augustana flute choir, palliative care physician Dr. Terri Peterson-Henry, cardiologist Dr. Marian S. Petrasko, retired preventative medicine physician Dr. Ronald Rossing, and surgeon Dr. Kirke Wheeler.  Local bluegrass group the Crab Grass Crew will be featured, which includes Dr. Richard Barnett and Dr. Tom Weisbecker.  Others with the Crab Grass crew are Matt Billion, Jim Billion, Dave Donahoe, Dave Jansa, Tom Jansa, Steve O'Dea, Rod Pierce, and Greg Schmitz. Dr. Jack Billion, a Children's Care board member and retired orthopedic surgeon, will be emcee.

A reception with the musicians follows the show, with entertainment by pianist Jay Tripp of Schoppert's Piano Gallery of Sioux Falls. In memory of founder Scott Schoppert, who helped found the Doctors in Concert event, Schoppert's will have a piano sale during the month of April, with a percentage of sales going to Children's Care.
